BIOGRAPHY

Leslie Levan has been working with children for about 25 years. She has been recognized in the community for her work with Ignite Yoga kids yoga teacher training for the last few years.  She specializes in sharing her passion of teaching children with special needs. She began practicing yoga for about 10 years. What started as a way to exercise has become a valuable experience that helps her everyday. Yoga provides her with time to focus on breath and not thinking about the past or the future.  She holds a AA degree in Early Childhood, BS degree in Child Development, MS degree in Human Development and MS in Special education that have helped her provide an environment that is effective for children.  She has also written the book, "A Child's View Curriculum," to help parents understand how to assist children with special needs in everyday living.
